Good camping site for all. There are spaces for anything including tents. It satisfies every need, very clean, all amenities present. Good amd clean sanitary facilities. The location is very nice on the lake shore. You can swim and rent SUPs. Booking in advance is reccomended because the camping site is not very big. The service and facilities were good. We enjoyed staying there for a week, sometimes relaxing on the lake and sometimes doing daytrips. All in all, a very good experience.
Amazing camping place directly on the walchensee lake with exclusive access to it . Really well organized, friendly staff, clean toilets and super comfortable new showers for ladies (there's hair dryers in some cabinets) a mini market really well equipped. It's a family place so after 10 you must be quiet but this bring a good atmosphere for everyone plus the surroundings are so awesome that totally worth to wake up early to explore around. First class campsite. Everything perfect from the friendly helpfully staff at check in and reception through to the excellent facilities on site. We were there for 3 days in a motorhome. It is in a wonderful position directly on the lake with private access. A very relaxing and stress free experience.
Amazing campsite and very friendly hosts who were super kind to let us arrive early for our one night stopover. We hope to return next year for a longer holiday!
The place is very nice, but the lady at the reception is sadly not friendly at all!!!
I found her very arrogant and that puts you automatically in a bad mood! I mean, you are supposed to be on vacation and not in the army!!!
Beside that, you have to pay extra for almost everything: hot shower for example..
The toilets are faaaar away as well…
Great campsite at the lake bay. Lovely views. The campsite store is well equipped. There is WiFi, but public so don't expect to much of it. All in all the best place to enjoy a lovely mountain lake and to come down to earth.
Relatively small but cozy camp site. Very well organised. There are two areas for tents. Both are close to the lake. We were assigned to set up our tent just right at the lake. The view is breathtaking. Adequate toilet, shower and washing facilities. Encountered issue with no hot water. Very crowded in summer time. Suggest to go early to secure a place especially during those days with good weather.
Receptionist seemed friendly at first, but when asked a simple question about campsite location was very quick to shut it down. Like an above review, it does seem service depends on which country you come from.
Also our names aren't hard to pronounce. Just put in some effort.
